The holiday season is upon us, and it’s time to put a bow on it! What You’ll Need:
2-3 yards of wired ribbon (we recommend 2.5″ width for best results)
Scissors
Floral wire or twist ties
Step 1: Cut Your Ribbon
Cut a piece of ribbon about 24 inches long for the bow loops and another 10-12 inches for the tails. Adjust the length based on how big and fluffy you’d like your bow to be.
Step 2: Make the Center Loop
Create a small loop in the ribbon and hold it in your hand, leaving a few inches at the end for the tail. This will be the center of your bow. Twist the ribbon in the middle to keep the loop secure and the patterned side facing out.
Step 3: Build Your Loops
Keep making loops on each side of the center loop, twisting the ribbon in the middle each time. Aim for 3-4 loops on each side to create a full, balanced bow. The twist keeps the ribbon from flattening out and makes your bow look nice and fluffy.
Step 4: Secure with Wire
